Esta investigación se formuló la siguiente pregunta ¿De qué manera influye las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación en la percepción de inseguridad ciudadana en el Distrito de Amarilis, Huánuco – 2023?, y en consecuencia se tuvo como objetivo general conocer en qué medida las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación influyen en la percepción de inseguridad ciudadana en el Distrito de Amarilis, Huánuco – 2023. Metodológicamente, se llevó a cabo un enfoque de nivel explicativo correlacional, de naturaleza aplicada. Se empleó un diseño de investigación no experimental, de tipo transversal, utilizando un cuestionario como instrumento de recolección de datos. La población de estudio estuvo constituida por hombres y mujeres del distrito de Amarilis - Huánuco, con una población total de 43,771 individuos entre 18 y 54 años. La muestra utilizada para el estudio consistió en 142 participantes, de ambos géneros. Los resultados obtenidos muestran una influencia significativa de las TIC en la percepción de inseguridad ciudadana. La prueba de correlación de Rho de Spearman reveló un coeficiente de correlación de -0.806, con un valor de p de 0.000 (p<0.05), lo que indica una significancia estadística. Se concluye que las tecnologías de la información y la comunicación influyen en la percepción de inseguridad ciudadana en el Distrito de Amarilis, Huánuco – 2023.
