Prevalencia del sindrome burnout y factores asociados en estudiantes de la E.A.P. de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizan de Huánuco durante el período de agosto a diciembre del 2015
Abstract
La siguiente tesis tiene como objetivos: Determinar la frecuencia del Síndrome Burnout y la relación que existe entre esta y diversos factores en los estudiantes de la E.A.P. de Medicina Humana de la Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizán de Huánuco. Materiales y métodos: Se realizó un estudio observacional, analítico de corte transversal donde se incluyó a 301 estudiantes de la E.A.P. Medicina Humana de la Universidad Nacional Hermilio Valdizán en la ciudad de Huánuco. Resultados: La prevalencia del Síndrome Burnout fue de 45,5%. No hubo diferencias en cuanto al sexo (p=0,50) el estado civil (p=0,82), sí se encontró diferencia significativa en cuanto a la edad (p=0,003), al analizar los diversos factores asociados se encontró diferencias significativas entre el Síndrome Burnout y la cantidad de cursos desaprobados (p=0,000), las horas de estudio (p=0.000), las horas de sueño (p=0,000) y los problemas con los padres (p=0.000) o con algún otro familiar (p=0,000). Conclusiones: Existe una prevalencia que concuerda con estadísticas nacionales y mundiales del Síndrome Burnout. Dentro de los factores asociados estudiados, hubo similitudes y diferencias en relación a estudios nacionales e internacionales debido a la característica multifactorial del síndrome. Palabras clave.
