Características obstétricas de las pacientes con antecedentes de cesáreas previa que determinaron el parto vaginal en el Hospital San Juan Bautista - Huaral - período 2013

El presente trabajo, se realizó con el objetivo de conocer las características obstétricas de las pacientes con antecedentes de cesárea previa que determinaron el parto vaginal en el Hospital “San Juan Bautista” de la de la Provincia de Huaral, en período de tiempo comprometido entre el 01 de enero al 31 diciembre del 2013. Según el diseño metodológico se realizó un estudio de tipo retrospectivo, transversal y descriptivo. El área de estudio tuvo como ámbito al Hospital “San Juan Bautista” de la provincia de Huaral. La población estuvo conformada por el total de pacientes gestantes que presentaron parto vaginal con una cesárea previa (281 casos) según el libro de nacimiento y el sistema informática de registro del centro obstétrico del Hospital. La recolección de datos se efectuó con una ficha estructurada, donde los resultados establecen que el parto vaginal con antecedentes de cesárea previa en la mayoría de pacientes (85.8%) no presentó complicaciones alguna.se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados de la población de estudio donde un 55.2% (155 casos) tuvieron entre los 20- 35 años, siendo las gestantes a término el 95% (267 casos), y solo el 62.3% (175 casos( tuvo un control prenatal adecuado, no tuvieron partos vaginales previos en un 77.6% (218), siendo cascareadas por presentar sufrimiento fetal agudo en un 20.3% (57), teniendo un período intergenésico de > 48 meses un 49.1% (138), presentaron un inicio de trabajo de parto espontáneo en un 98.2% (276), durante el trabajo de parto se presentaron complicaciones en el 14.2% (40 casos) y ninguna complicación en un 85.8% (241), asi como ninguna complicación en el puerperio 94% (264), teniendo un recién nacido con un peso entre 2500 gr a 400 gr en un 91.1% (256), con un apgar entre 7 a 10 un 98.6% (277) y teniendo una estancia hospitalaria de 1 a 2 días en un 93.6% (263). Por lo tanto se llegó a la siguiente conclusión que el parto vaginal en gestantes con antecedentes de cesárea previa tiene una baja incidencia de complicaciones materno perinatales, demostrando ser una segura tanto para la madre como para su recién nacido y de esta manera disminuir la incidencia de cesáreas, los días de hospitalización y los costos.
