Prácticas de autocuidado y prevención de la COVID-19, en comerciantes de un Mercado de Abasto, Paucarbamba – Huánuco, 2022

El presente estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre las prácticas de autocuidado y prevención de la COVID-19, en comerciantes de un mercado de abasto, Paucarbamba – Huánuco, 2022. Método. El estudio fue de nivel descriptivo relacional, cuantitativo, de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, prospectivo y transversal; la muestra lo conformaron por 74 comerciantes del mercado de abasto Paucarbamba; para establecer la relación se usó la prueba estadística prueba no paramétrica Chi Cuadrado, asumiendo un nivel de confianza del 95 % y error menor al 0.05. Se empleó la técnica de la entrevista y la encuesta. Resultados. Se halló que el 47,3 % (35) presentaron prácticas adecuadas y eran optimistas en la prevención de la COVID, seguido del 29,7%(22) quienes realizan prácticas adecuados pero eran pesimistas en la prevención, el 62,2% eran pesimistas para no enfermar, no eran precavidos, no participaban en acciones preventivas, no se adaptaban a los cambios, no acataban las medidas preventivas, no aplicaba la orientación de prevención por profesionales, respetaba y cuidaba a los demás, por otro lado el 67,6%(50) controlaban su miedo a enfermar, se encontraban tranquilos para no enfermar, presentaban incertidumbre y angustia de la enfermedad de COVID-19; al contrastar las variables se obtuvo un valor un valor X2=10,028 y p=0,007 demostrando que existe relación entre las prácticas de autocuidado se relaciona con la prevención de la COVI 19. Conclusión. Las prácticas de autocuidado tienen relación con la prevención de la COVID-19, en comerciantes de un mercado de abasto, Paucarbamba – Huánuco, 2022.
